What we do


We combine local tradition & beachfront lifestyle to bring you the ultimate bonfire experience. No need to worry about finding the perfect spot, tending to the fire, or cleaning up. Just sit back, relax, and roast s’mores!

Book a nightly bonfire package, or get in touch with us about our special bonfire experiences for weddings, proposals, birthdays, and more.

Packages

Each of our nightly fire packages include the essentials: a fire pit, wood, beach chairs, and a table for s’mores + beverages for up to 10 people.

At booking, you can add up to 4 extra people to your package (select from the list of “add-ons”). The maximum group size for nightly bonfire packages is 14 people.

Where


Our bonfire experiences are located at the Bahia Resort Hotel and the Catamaran Resort Hotel.

After you book your bonfire, you will receive your reservation confirmation email that details where to meet us.

 

Before You Book FAQs


Booking

Reserve your bonfire experience on our reservations page. Once you book, we'll follow up with a confirmation email detailing your chosen date, time, location and instructions upon arrival. After meeting at the designated arrival location, our fire attendants will escort you to your bonfire and remain on-site throughout your experience, accommodating all of your needs. Set-up and clean-up is handled by our team. All bonfires conclude by 10 pm per San Diego regulations.

Package Information

Our nightly packages are designed to accommodate small to mid-size groups. Each person in the group will get a beach chair, s'mores, and bottled water.

If your party size is over our nightly package capacity (14 people), we can still do it! For large bonfires and special events, please contact us.

Food & Beverage

Our s'mores kit contains Honeymaid graham crackers, Hershey's milk chocolate, and Jet-Puffed s'moremallows. One kit will make about four s'mores. We start each group off with enough kits to serve two s'mores per person, but always have extras on hand! Roasting skewers, hand wipes, and bottled water is also included.

Additional food and beverages are available for take-out from Dockside 1953 or Oceana Coastal Kitchen, before or during your reservation, and may be enjoyed around your fire.

Reservation Changes

We are happy to make any changes 24 hours prior to your reservation. Package add-ons and additional time may be reserved through the link in your confirmation email or by phone. While we will do our best to accomodate any changes on the day of, we cannot guarantee availability.

Weather

We are lucky to have consistently clear, starry nights, and rarely experience rain. However, on the rare occasion that weather may interfere with your Bayside Bonfires reservation, we are happy to reschedule to our first available date. In the case that we cannot reschedule your bonfire, we are happy to refund you.

Fire Safety

Our goal is to give you the best experience possible while keeping safety a number one priority. Fire can be dangerous if not handled properly. We start, maintain, and extinguish your fire, and are fully equipped to accommodate all of your needs during your experience. By confirming your Bayside Bonfire experience, you are agreeing to our fire safety guidelines stated on the reservation form.

Cancellation Policy

Reservations cancelled less than 24 hours prior to the reservation time or no-shows will forfeit their payment. By confirming your reservation, you confirm that you have read and agreed to these conditions.
